My opinion in a nutshell, average.It is a ok place for you to go and drink with friends or as a causal date.Many choices for alcohol and flavor small dishes.Will not recommend if you're looking for real hard core Mexican food though.The place is fancy and crowded. Access is also very convenient since it is just up the Shinagawa Station.It is not expensive but not cheap ethire, come here when you are looking for a drink place and easy access location.

Had friend's birthday and company's party there. Recommend their guacamole, which they prepare in frond of you with nice presentation. Also for those who likes "food shows" there are some food with "flambe" presentation. It is hot and awesome. Quesadillas with cheese are my favorite.

Good place. Not an authentic Mexican flavor, some random dishes but still, staff is really nice, speak in English and the music creates a good ambiance.

Not recommended.I have ordered a Beef Burrito priced at 900 yen.I was surprised I couldn't taste any beef so I opened the Burrito. I have seen exactly one piece of minced meat.I told the waitress this is not acceptable. However she said that is the kind of Burrito they are serving.In that case i wanted to swap for the Fajita. After 7 minutes the waitress returned with the plate to tell me that I will be charged for the Burrito anyway. After endless discussions they agreed not to charge me for the Burrito.Ridiculously unprofessional.

Sub par food, okay service. They had a table charge and a late night fee as well so keep that in mind before paying more for food that's not worth the price anyway

We came here for lunch expecting a quick meal. It took 30 minutes to serve my soup and then 10 minutes to bring the change. The food was fresh and flavorful, but they need to improve their service.

The food is great. Especially the mango ceviche, also, the guacamole. It is made at your table side. You will love all the dishes. We ordered eight of them. Well, expect the chorizo. It’s not choro. It’s more of a a sausage. But still, the place is great and the food is even better.

Decent place for Mexican-like dishes. We had the burritos which were small but pretty good. crowded during lunch and dinner. But the staff are friendly and quick with orders.

Love the variety of the dishes but it doesn't taste amazing or whatsoever. Very nice guacamole though, it's freshly made in front of you. You get to choose the avocadoes too!

Great food for a reasonable price. Staff service was good and the ambience of the restaurant was nice too. Excellent spot for a date! It's near shingawa station which is a pretty large station. Dinner after your odaiba date would be a nice.

It's a bar, and a restaurant the dishes are like in a Izakaya but Mexican an you can share and order kind of Mexican drinks, the only problem I see is that all the time is full, usually you need to reserve 2 days before, otherwise they are going to tell you that you can wait at the bar standing and until they have a place they will tell you, actually it doesn't happen.

One of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Enchiladas had Shimeji mushrooms and potatoes. Not Mexican at all

Not impressed by quality or quantity of food and drinks. Maybe it’s because I lived in Texas for many years and I know what good TexMex tastes like.

They provided a cup of sangria as a welcome drink, and cooked guacamole in front of us. tast and atmospher are great. def recommended.

A reasonably priced lunch spot in Shinagawa. The food is nothing groundbreaking; however, it is satisfying and we'll priced. If you are looking for a decent, affordable lunch and you are in the area, you will walk away happily. my go to lunch spot while I wait out the time on immigration office visits 😂

Good Mexican food. Ordered en chiladas for lunch and was 1,000 Yen. The people were friendly and nice.

Food quality is good

Unfriendly to guests with babies!! There were no space for baby push chair so I asked if I could leave it at the entrance, the guy LITERALLY moved the stroller a few meters away just so there would be some space for “waiting guests” while it’s not full in the restaurant AT ALL! It’s so nice of YOU to move the stroller out of the store area for us!!! Thank you so much!!! On the last day of 2019!!! SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!!

Habanero pina colada (with or without alcohol) is delicious. Wish they had refried beans and Spanish rice... Not the best Mexican food but great atmosphere and enough interesting dishes to be entertaining and worthwhile. Expensive but worth it. Celebrate your birthday here for a cool sparkler topped pie and other small desserts!

Great drink menu and food was great. Portions are not Mexican size neither is the price but flavor is there.

Doesn't taste like authentic Mexican food at all. Charges you to simply sit down at your table. Doesn't have a list of what is in the food so if you have allergies like I do, be careful because they will charge you a second time if you can't eat it and need to send it back.

We love this Mexican Cantina very much. Food is reasonably priced, and their servers are all friendly and trained well. Place is in the upper floor of the building that is very conveniently connected directly to the train terminates. Only disappointment is their fajita, it’s not the best in class although flame burning at your table side is entertaining.

Nice place and cozy to hang out

Not a bad Mexican restaurant. Their traditional dishes, like fajitas, tacos, etc are quite good, but some of their dishes are "inspired " by Mexican food, such as BBQ baby back ribs with chipotle, which do not actually have chipotle flavor and are coated in Japanese bread crombs. One last point is the noise. The music is always way too loud here, forcing everyone to shout to be heard, which only makes it still more difficult to hear.

Excellent restaurant

This place has an awesome ambience and great food. I usually get the same thing... Grilled chicken and veggies on the skillet. It never disappoints! And for lunchtime you get an entire"set" for ¥1000... Can't be beat!

Super nice vibe and tasty drink.I found this nice spot when I was looking for a nice bar to hang out with my friend. There was a waiting line in front, but if you tell the hostess that you wanna grab drinks first at the counter before to be seated, you can get it. I think the vibes and drink was pretty good, but I should agree about the food as other reviewers mention. For the local Japanese, this Mexican food must be new and fun, however for the Mexican people or Mexican food lover from around the world, might not accept that this is a real Mexican. Anyways, as I said, the vibe is quite good, so if you are looking for the spot for the drinking ,this is the place to go.

This is super delicious authentic Mexican restaurant!!! The atmosphere is perfect!! Very modern restaurant!!! American style!!! I love here!!!!! There are bar floor and main dining room!! Usually it’s crowded so you may be waited for a while but you can wait here with fancy cocktails!! Great!! They have perfect guacamole and chips!! It was sooo delicious!! The appetizers are great!! With good cheap price, you can choose from various appetizers!! They all are very delicious!! The tacos are so yum too!! You can enjoy good cocktails, beers and so on!!! You pay at your table!! This is nice style!! There are terrace floor but only during summer time! It was closed when I went there but it looks so gorgeous and great!! I will try to come definitely!!! You can enjoy great dinner with friends here!! I highly recommend you here!!! Enjooooyyy!!!

Good food and very good service

A popular restaurant with great tasting food and an original twist on Mexican drinks. Reservations are recommended for dinner, especially, closer to the weekend. The decor and atmosphere is excellent. It's also possible to drop by at any time and find a spot at the standing bar to enjoy a cocktail and some food. The bartenders are friendly and talkative. Service is good and the food filling enough to leave no space for dessert - maybe next time. I enjoyed the Spicy Ginger Mojito, but watch out as they're not joking about the spicy part. We tried the Tacos (chicken & beef), chicken fajitas, guacamole, and enchiladas. All very tasty. Order extra spice if you enjoy that as the standard spice level for most dishes and salsa is too mild.

Disclaimer: I have not been to Mexico or had Tex Mex before so I'm not a great judge for authenticity. I went for lunch and had the chicken fajita lunch set. It was pretty tasty but I didn't get much herb and spice flavour which I would think of as Mexican. However, it was only 1500 (excl. tax) for a salad, main, dessert and tea/coffee which I though was pretty reasonable. Also it is really easy to get to from Shinagawa station which is great if you're lazy like I am.

Their menu and Mexican place in Daikanyama are alike. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Patio seat is very cozy in summer. It was a little bit hard to find the restaurant though. Recommend

Attention Tourist: if there is a sub-par Mexican chain restaurant you are craving, there’s one in Shinagawa station. The food is cheap in price and quality but the staff is friendly if not prompt. The booze is the true saving grace.
